I guess we'll find out how many Youtube clips can go into a post. I was going to do this on my blog but maybe it's better served here. A chronological collection of all video clips containing Paul.

Help from 1965.
John's intro which follows Paul doing Yesterday is key here. Thank You Paul, that was just like him. This is in 1965.

I'm kinda new to the PID conspiracy and I find it very interesting. I don't think Paul physically died. Maybe back then something, spiritually, changed Pauls "inner" self somehow. Paul's aging appearance, in videos and photos, through the years seems quite normal to me. I don't see a dramatic change at all in the photos. If it was all a hoax, then why? If the record company/promoters formulated the hoax to sell more albums, since the withdrawl from the public shows and such. Then why did they wait so long before "leaking" the rumor of clues? Their albums were selling just fine befor anyone knew. The beatles didn't need a hoax to sell music. Unless, the record company didnt notice the clues the beatles were leaving in the records only finding out later. Because the record company/promoters were probably already on edge with the beatles "mixing things up" so to say, and would have strong negative opinions with such a bizarre concept. Especially with the withdrawal from public concerts and exploring different styles in music with their own creative control. It seems record companies back then were more streamlined and took very few risks outside of the normal package of music. When the Beatles took full creative control of their music, they broke down the barriers the music industry had as their guidelines. Then the beatles had control of The Beatles image. Something did anyway. It does seem, at times, to hint towards something else rather than soley PID, yet remains unclear for now.

In the 1965 Help video it sounds as if John is saying " Thank you Paul. I was just like him". Referring to the main character in the theme of Paul's song, longing for yesterday.

Welcome Ter!
I play devil's advocate and admit that there is something a bit bizarre between Paul's LA interview appearance on August 28 1966 and his appearance after that, even one day later in San Francisco.
What is odd is that the Paul from Paperback Writer and Rain looks more like the 1967---> Paul and the Paul from the 66 tour looks more like the Help era Paul, its enough to keep me at 99.9% and not a full 100% that he just aged.
That said, I have a current theory, which definitely is subject to change as more is understood, that this whole thing tracks back to "more popular than Jesus" and that the true purpose was to enlighten youth away from the restrictions of Christianity.
While that is my own pet theory and certainly not provable at the moment, one thing that would be interesting with this in regards to PID motive is that the Pope back then was named Paul so if so anyone who heard "Paul" would automatically assume its McCartney and not a code for something else.
This would also explain why no one would ever talk about it later on...

Very interesting theory! Could PID be referring to the Paul of the NT. Pope Paul seems a likely candidate, only the Popes name changes throughout time. The NT's Paul remains the same throughout time, and many preach from his example. Paul seems the most outspoken of the deciples of the time in the NT. The Beatles music is still on going and still very influential. So if their music was to " enlighten youth away from the restrictions" it would do so, as long as possible, towards all denominations of Christian teachings. Besides, the only religious group most offended by Lennons comment were from the American south. Mostly with certain beliefs outside the Catholics views. The only thing the religious groups seem to have in common is the bible. So could the mystery of Paul reffer to the NT's Paul? Most all preachers an preists teach from "Pauls teachings" just as much as from J C's.
I don't know much of the NT's Paul, only through what I've heard and breifly read. NT's Paul has a mysterious quality to his story with how he was once a christian persecutor changed into a chosen deciple. Then changed his name from Saul to Paul. He had an interesting record of tribulations and even butted heads with other deciples etc... The only other Saul from the book is Israels first king, who had some very strange occurrences with demons back then. I don't know. Just some thoughts.

Sure, that's possible too!
Consider Maxwell's Silver Hammer, and the myth of the Pope being tapped three times with a Silver Hammer to see if he is dead or only sleeping.
