I have found an interesting thread, posted on the 60if. board, about Richard Merkin's 1965 painting "Bulldog Drummond and the Great Coca-Cola Mystery." The way the album cover ties in with the painting makes me wonder if they used it as a template. 60if.proboards.com/index.cgi?board=60ifclues&action=display&thread=2100Richard Merkin is on the top row, wearing the red hat, of Sgt. Peppers cover. With all the great suggestions of how the album cover ties in with the painting it was never mentioned of how Never Land could actually be referring to Poe.

Do you see how this starts to fit into place. once you find the right "key"? More popular than Jesus is what they were reacting to, and that is what they were tempted into reacting to in order to accomplish something pre-ordained. Remember too that Georgia has a Bulldog also (University of Georgia Bulldogs)...

Beacon, part of Apollo's stated 35% I would reckon, although there are a few other interesting combinations too like Queue and Pony.
The interesting thing to me is that they planted what everyone would look for and added combos like ATL that no one would look for....
ADITL
DI seems obvious, could mean diminishing influence from the obitiuary though...
BEATLES
--------
It is still my stance that what information you need to connect the dots still remains hidden in plain sight.
I find it curious that when John penned "How Do You Sleep?", he referred to those seeking answers as "freaks."
And, not in a "good" way.
Which leads me to take another hard look at the song, and who it is really focused upon.
Paul finds no problem addressing himself as a "freak."
As you are finding out, in the world of "clues", the most obvious sometimes only serves as a distraction to what is clearly being displayed.
------------
Its almost like he's saying the song isn't about Paul or partially not about him.
