I decided to start a new " album cover clues " thread about the use of mirrors to find images or clues in any album cover art. Mostly The Beatles Sgt. Peppers.
I was thinking if the drum head had a mirrored clue then there must be some other mirrored clues also. I say "clues", but to what I don't really know. It could be about PID or something else entirely.
Not only just the beatles album covers but other bands as well. For instance The Rolling Stones have mirrored images in the (Their Satanic Majesties Request) album cover and gatefold.

When the drum in Sgt. Peppers album cover is mirrored the opposite way it reveals ( COKECI. HEXKI 3 ) Now COKE is short for cocaine. CI is the Roman numeral 101. HEX is of witchcraft or something else. KI is for Kilo. 3 is "key" in the PID mystery clues. Maybe 3 kilos of cocaine? ( COKE 101 HEX Kilo 3 In an interview in Uncut magazine, Paul McCartney says: "I did cocaine for about a year around the time of Sgt. Pepper," he said, referring to The Beatles' 1967 album. "Coke and maybe some grass to balance it out. I was never completely crazy with cocaine. "I'd been introduced to it and at first it seemed OK, like anything that's new and stimulating.

The picture is a mirrored image of the puzzle maze found in the Rolling Stones ( Their Satanic Majesties Request ) album gatefold. Before mirrored it reads- Its Here. The mirrored significance? I haven't a clue. Just seemed interesting.

James 1:13 - When tempted, no one should say, “God is tempting me.” For God cannot be tempted by evil, nor does he tempt anyone
December 8th 1967 - Magical Mystery Tour, Their Satanic Majesties Request and 13 years to the day before John Lennon's death.
Think of 113 as a way to distinguish who's driving and who isn't...

Excellent! That 113 (or I 13 I guess it could be) is one of the most intriguing visuals I've seen, especially considering the synchronicity. This scene in Kent was shot on September 22nd 1967 (9/22). Its all in what they were intending, and then what was being intended through them. Believing they intended everything that shows up I think leads a lot of people astray...and the thing is that I think the Beatles above and beyond everyone realized how much of this they didn't intend. This one from the Stones might be the same... Attachments:

If you look on the album cover of the Rolling Stones-Their Satanic Majesties Request , just below Jagger, there appears to be a simmilar clue as the Sgt. Peppers drum when mirrored. HE DIE The Beatles faces are also hidden on the cover.

Hi Ter,
Can you post an image, or is it the one you have posted previously?

Seems to be a popular December '67 theme, the Beatles showed up in the trees in John Wesley Harding as well... Attachments:

Here's an album by Harry Nilsson called Pussy Cats produced by John Lennon. Supposedly, as an inside joke, the alphabet blocks (D&S) on each side of a rug means DrugS. When you place a mirror across the blocks, aligned with the notch in a chair leg, an image appears to spell DIE with the E facing backwards.

Drugs isn't probably anywhere near as clever as anything in Sgt. Pepper but it does display John's fondness for hidden riddles in Album covers. Wasn't it Nigey Lennon who said she couldn't believe how commonplace hidden messages in Album covers were?
One of the key mistakes we all make is to believe that all of this started in late '66, I'd be curious to see any mirroring from Pre-Sgt. Pepper.
I have this notion that we are missing something very important because we've all been conditioned to start with Sgt. Pepper/PID and we collectively never look further back...

Some tips to remember when looking for "mirrored clues" on album covers: Look for sharp edges, points, sharp lines, half arrows, items inline and horizontal division of words. Finding such points and lines etc. are places for the edge of a mirror to reveal interesting images or clue words etc. If something looks like half an arrow, placing a mirror just opposite reveals an arrow. It's been said that The Beatles and The Rolling Stones were communicating with clues placed within their album covers and songs. Looking over both albums I noticed a peculiar thing on the Stones " majesties request" album gatefold. There is a picture of the planet Saturn over a city and one of the buildings has a half arrow shape at the bottom. Place a mirror up beside it and it reveals an arrow pointing down and some other interesting things. On the Sgt. Peppers album cover I noticed what looks like a half arrow located below the Shirley temple doll wearing the Welcome The Rolling Stones sweater. The half arrow is made up of the Stone figure, with what looks like a man sitting down wearing a sombrero, and the yellow flowers just above it. So place a mirror up against the Stone figure and the top point on the yellow flowers, with the mirror facing the outer edge of the album on the right side. Put the mirror inline with the colored beads between the Shirley Temple doll's socks. If you don't have a copy of the albums or a mirror. You can achieve the same results on a computer using the images of the album covers with the paint program or some other programs like it. Just select the area you want to mirror then copy, paste, flip and realign the image. Maybe someone can post clearer images, because I can't using an iPad.
