Not sure where to put this; but I find it interesting that in 1969, Anita Pallenberg stars in a film titled Dillinger Is Dead.

Ken Kesey, the author of One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest (pages of which were written all over the restroom wall of his La Honda residence) and other books, owned a home in La Honda, which served as the base of operations for The Merry Pranksters where they used LSD and other drugs.[4] The escapades of Kesey and the Merry Pranksters are documented in Tom Wolfe's The Electric Kool-Aid Acid Test, which describes the wildly painted school bus, 'Further'[5], driven by Neal Cassady, who had been the hyperkinetic driver in Jack Kerouac's On the Road.

I went to the same high school that Keysey went to. He spoke there my senior year and told everyone to drop out. In the book One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest they go fishing in Florence, the town I grew up in (age 4-14), It's obviously not Florence in the film. While the Hospital is in Salem, (where my brother now lives). Florence also inspired him to write Once A Great Notion. Florence also inspired Frank Herbert to write Dune, as it was home of the world's largest dune for decades. Interesting that Brad Dourif stars in both Cuckoo's Nest and Dune.

The 216-letter name of God which is derived from Exodus 14:19-21 en.wikipedia.org/wiki/ShemhamphoraschGeburah, the Hebrew word for Strength/Severity has the Gematrical value of 216. Geburah and Chesed are the two Sephirot on the Tree of Life which make up the Twin Pillars which support the tree. Also depicted as Jachin & Boaz, which translates to "Established in Strength". The word for Strength in this case is OZ.

In 1963, pitcher Gaylord Perry commented that "they will put a man on the moon before I hit a home run." Minutes after Neil Armstrong set foot on the moon, Perry hit the first home run of his career.

Eight months after working on the film The Omen, special effects consultant and designer John Richardson suffered injuries in a head-on car collision in Holland that killed his assistant, Liz Moore. A road sign by the crash read: Ommen, 66.6 km.
Richardson was in Holland working on the war film "A Bridge Too Far," along with a colleague from the set of "The Omen," stuntman Alf Joint. While performing a standard stunt on "A Bridge Too Far," jumping off of a rooftop into a large inflatable cushion below, Joint slipped awkwardly and was badly hurt. He later told friends he felt like he had been pushed.

Just watched The Omen. Starts out with a White VW Beetle. Gregory Peck is attacked by dogs, just like in The Boys From Brazil The trucking tricycle shot when Damien knocks his mom off the upper floor hallway is very similar to Kubrick's shot of Danny on his bigwheel. The license plate of the cop chasing Peck when he goes to kill the boy is 111J. And Leo McKern as the man who instructs Peck on how to kill the boy is too much. (Mckern was the human sacrifice cult leader in Help!) And to top it off; Mia Farrow plays the nanny in the recent remake of The Omen. (Ira Levin wrote both The Boys From Brazil and Rosemary's Baby). Also just finished a mega-post on Sharon Tate. overlaphotel.blogspot.com/2014/02/sharon-tate.htmlInteresting that Jay Leno just announced he's retiring after 22 years (Tarot), and Mia Farrow is back in the news. Leno & Rosemary LaBianca were killed the day after Tate.

Yeah, that was crazy. I didn't even really think about it until the second time I watched the movie. At first I thought I was stretching it, then I saw numerous people saying the same thing in the Youtube comments. Then I did a google search, and there were more than a few sites saying the same thing. Posted a blog with a cache of supplemental tangents stemming from the Sharon Tate post. overlaphotel.blogspot.com/2014/02/tate-ology-sharon-tate-tangents.html
